Political Factions Old, New and Coming to a Neighborhood Near You (Part 1 of 3)
Contentious, self-seeking dissenting factions and extreme non official fringe factions (“ENOFF”), as I will call it, are on the rise. So what does that mean exactly? It means the Republican and Democratic parties have lost their influence, but the Democrats more than the republicans.
But, before we unpack the faction container I hope readers will consider this notion and think on it a little: The people who are elected to positions of leadership decide what we will do and not do with our life from day to day. How we MUST behave and the tactics used to enforce behavior and the punishment for failing to conform.
How Do We Get Factions?
While Democrats typically support a larger government role in economic issues and back regulations and social welfare programs, Republicans typically want a smaller government that is less involved in the economy.However, factions want hard line control over one or more issues which represent the common civilian in most cases.
The Democrat Ideology Looks Like This:
Ideology is always shifting so the focus here is 2024 ideology. In 2024 the Democrat party says it stands fro the following:
- Building a stronger, fairer economy.
- Achieving universal, affordable, quality health care.
- Protecting communities and building trust by reforming our criminal justice system.
- Healing the soul of America.
- Combating the climate crisis and pursuing environmental justice.
- Restoring and strengthening our democracy.
- Creating a 21st century immigration system.
- Providing a world-class education in every zip code.
- Renewing American leadership.

The Republican Ideology Looks Like This:
- Restoring the American dream.
- A rebirth of constitutional government.
- America’s natural resources: Agriculture, energy and the environment.
- Government reform.
- Great American families, education, healthcare and criminal justice.
- America resurgent.

As the main political parties, they determine what the life of a person living in the American political system will look like . Thus, the parties represent the social ideas of each party. If the social idea is successful then they will become enforceable laws and regulations. Adoption of these ideas by anyone who lives in the United States are accomplished by generally educating the public. At least, that’s what’s supposed to happen, right?
However, reality is much different and many times much uglier than the dream. Again, the idea is adoption of the platform by those who follow the political ideas of the party, right?
Or is it too create a group who follows the platform by educating them into the ideology?; or
is it too import people who will adopt the ideas of the political platform?;
or is it to do something else? Thus, where the road map forward ends is where the factions begin, or where the party is sift on issues is where the hard line begins.
What do Factions Look Like?
A party may begin as a solid platform and end up spawning activists. When I say end up, i mean it sincerely. Objectives, goals and tasks are achieved by having a plan and implementing the plan. If a party ends up somewhere it means something went wrong between having an idea, making a plan, implementing the plan and achieving the desired result. What happens next is the unintended creation of factions. Thus, whether it’s a faction created because of the above or a faction is created from direct opposition to any platform I believe it still represents a failure of any part of the process laid out herein.
Factions lean far left or far right (if you so desire you may dive into the origin of the words far left and far right according to Dictionary.com ). And in most cases, they represent the heart and soul of the party ideology when you cut through the nonsense words and political double talk meant to be party centrist, but to an extreme level.
The thing is factions are radically unafraid, hard edged and sometimes, reckless, dangerous and violent. Thus, less politics and more activists or even criminal action.
Far Left Factions:
Animal Liberation Front: In the United States, ALF has claimed responsibility for arson and vandalism against animal research facilities, farms, restaurants, and other businesses the group considers harmful to animals. Source: Counter Extremism Project.
Antifa has its roots in Germany, where the Communist Party formed Antifaschistische Aktion (“Antifascist Action,” sometimes abbreviated as antifa). Source: Counter Extremism Project. Thomas Mathew Crooks who is and has been affiliated with Antifa according to an online source Thomas Crooks was reportedly involved in a violent Antifa protest in:
- Seattle, characterized by clashes with law enforcement and property damage.
- Portland Unrest (2022) Crooks allegedly participated in a riot in Portland, Oregon, where Antifa members clashed with counter-protesters, resulting in multiple arrests. https://www.caclubindia.com/assets/thomas-crooks/.
- According to multiple sources he is responsible for the assassination attempt on President Donald J. Trump on July 13, 2024 in Butler, Pennsylvanian. Thomas Mathew Crooks 20, was from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania not far from Butler.
Antifa has been referred to as an ideology not an organization by the FBI. However, there may be a close relationship between Antifa and Black Bloc and others showing group coordination. Either way, it’s likely Antifa will be torn apart by police organization nationwide and listed unofficially as a terrorist organization.

Others exist either know or unknown and in various states of activation. It’s also important to note that these groups whether autonomous, cell structured, leaderless or organized represent an activists “activists” and are often willing to commit crimes and promote violence.
However, these groups don’t account for other leftism that is extreme. For instance the Canada Psychologist Jordan Peterson posted “12 Rules for Monster Mom’s”

- Torture your child until he or she is miserable and intolerable.
- Seduce him or her into adopting a trendy new identity with false promises of love.
- Proclaim how wonderful you are for loving your son or daughter despite the burden they have now become.
- Collect martyr kudos from your circle of idiot friends while they disparage you behind your back.
- Yell victim loudly when anyone dares object.
- Celebrate your allyship with the imaginary oppressed.
- Fill your son with guilt if he protests his impending castration.
- Scheme with your sadistic friend the butcher-surgeon until he agrees too cut the breasts off your young and could-be beautiful daughter.
- Work with the local school to ensure that other mothers and their children follow your lead.
- Cry often with a red face about the prejudice confronting your now-mutilated child.
- Remind yourself frequently of your superhuman bravery and resilience
- Fly the Pride Flag proudly and oh-so-publicly.
